Sample steps include: obtain and review company capital raise policies surrounding the process, obtain and review advisor agreements for policies surrounding the process, obtain and review the agreement between all parties involved in the capital raise process to gain an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of each party with respect to this process, ensure that deposit details per agreement are tied to system reports for a sample of stock purchase transactions, and ensure that the deposit report has a verification slip attached noting that the entry was adequately reviewed.
